1. Overview

Welcome to BuildYourLicense, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access and use of our websites, applications, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Each email may be used to register only one account.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to others.
• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3. Paid Services & Plans

We offer one-time subscription plans with time-limited access:

• Basic: $299 – 3 months access
• Standard: $399 – 6 months access
• Premium: $499 – 12 months access

Fees are charged at the time of purchase. Access begins immediately after successful payment. All plans include free updates during the subscription period.

4. Refund Policy

• 7-Day Guarantee: Full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked.
• Pass Guarantee: If you complete the recommended study plan and fail the CSLB exam, you may request a full refund. Proof of exam results and study completion (e.g., 80% modules, 3 mock exams) is required.
• After 7 days (unless covered by Pass Guarantee), all fees are non-refundable.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scrapers, or automation to access content.
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Services.
• Copy, sell, or redistribute our study materials without permission.
• Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code.
• Harass other users or our staff.

6. Intellectual Property

All content (questions, solutions, explanations, videos, and software) provided through the Services is owned or licensed by us and protected under U.S. copyright law. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license for personal study use only. Unauthorized copying, resale, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

7. Service Modifications & Termination

We may modify or discontinue the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Fees paid for terminated accounts will not be refunded.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We do not guarantee that using our Services will ensure you pass the CSLB exam. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a purpose.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability shall not exceed $500 in any case.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in California. Claims must be filed within six months of the event giving rise to the claim. Class actions are not permitted.

10. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy form the entire agreement.
• Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remaining Terms remain enforceable.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, network failures).
• Modifications: We may update these Terms at any time. Updates are effective upon posting.
